So, we thought what better way than to sit down and find out all about her journey with us so far\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What made you initially join GGD? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Emily and Nicks\u2019s ambition to be something bigger. I was inspired by their drive and how they built their business from the ground up. It didn\u2019t look easy, but I wanted to be a part of that and go on that journey with them to learn and grow myself, and boy have I done so!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What would you say are the biggest things you have learnt from a marketing perspective over the last year?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Everything. My background before Green Ginger Digital was in eCommerce, and although I understood how the channels feed into one another and how a holistic approach is so important to the overarching success of an online business, I didn&#8217;t know the ins and outs of <a href=\"https:\/\/greengingerdigital.com\/services\/google-ads\/\">Paid Search<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/greengingerdigital.com\/services\/paid-social\/\">Paid Social.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I was probably very na\u00efve in thinking that it\u2019s pretty easy and it\u2019s just turning a few ads on and off. It\u2019s so much more than that and the volume to learn is vast \u2013 if you\u2019re doing it right!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the biggest things you have learnt about yourself?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That I&#8217;m definitely not as patient as I thought I was. I forgot how hard it was to adapt and learn a new skill from scratch again, it\u2019s been very testing at times!<\/p>\n<p>On the flip side, however, I&#8217;ve also recognised how much I CAN do, and that I also need to ignore that little voice in my head saying I can\u2019t.\u00a0Being nominated and winning a place in <a href=\"https:\/\/greengingerdigital.com\/blog\/sam-moor-is-top-30-under-30-winner\/\">Hull &amp; Humber\u2019s Top 30 Under 30 Programme<\/a> definitely helped me recognise how far I\u2019ve come in such a short space of time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are you looking forward to over the next 6 months? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Learning and growing even further! I still have a ton to learn and I&#8217;m looking forward to getting stuck in. I\u2019ve recently been promoted to Senior Performance Marketing Manager and this new role brings new challenges and responsibilities which I&#8217;m looking forward to getting to grips with and stepping out of my comfort zone.<\/p>\n<p>Mostly though, I&#8217;m looking forward to helping the team grow. I thrive off seeing people succeed and If I can inject some of my organisation skills, leadership, and general life advice into the team to help them grow into their best selves then I&#8217;ll have done the job I set out to do.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are you looking to excel your marketing career?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The team at Green Ginger Digital has grown significantly over the last year, with roles from apprenticeships to management across an array of channels, and we have no plans of stopping either as we continue to grow our client base.
