The Chelsea Psychology Clinic (TCPC) is one of London’s most respected private mental health practices, founded by leading consultant psychologists and psychiatrists. With clinics across the city, TCPC offers expert-led therapy, psychiatry and specialist assessments to clients in the UK and internationally.

Despite a strong reputation and loyal client base, digital performance had plateaued and needed expert attention. PPC costs were climbing, SEO visibility had slowed, and paid activity was carrying too much of the load. TCPC had built a trusted brand in private mental health care, known for its clinical excellence and high standards. Yet, despite its reputation, digital performance lagged. Paid media was becoming increasingly expensive, and organic channels weren’t generating enough visibility or volume to offset those costs.

There was a need to rebalance channel execution, and our signature forecasts identified the opportunities, providing a clear roadmap for our strategy.

Approach

Green Ginger Digital developed a cohesive strategy across Organic Search and Paid Media, creating a comprehensive plan to enhance efficiency, visibility, and lead quality across TCPC’s key therapy pathways, including ADHD, Psychiatry, Psychology, Schema Therapy, Couples Therapy, and EMDR Therapy.

The approach included:

  • Comprehensive keyword research and content roadmap to target both high-intent and informational searches across key therapy categories.
  • On-page optimisation and UX recommendations, including a restructured service layout (e.g. Online Therapy) to guide users naturally through each page, improving engagement and conversion rates.
  • Supporting content creation, using blogs and FAQs to strengthen authority, improve E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authority and Trust) signals, and drive top-of-funnel discovery traffic.
  • Performance reviews and diagnostics, flagging dips in CTR, clicks or rankings, then delivering focused recommendations to recover and grow visibility.
  • Paid media optimisation, including: Launching Bing Ads as a new acquisition channel and achieving leads at 77% lower CPL than Google Ads, refining location targeting and bidding strategies to reduce waste, adjusting keyword match types and prioritising efficient, high-performing therapy pathways, and refreshing ad copy to improve click-through rates and engagement.

The result was a data-led roadmap that united paid and organic activity, building authority through SEO while tightening efficiency across paid media. The cross-channel approach delivered tangible improvement in both visibility and efficiency, proving that performance and sensitivity can coexist.
