We’re proud to share that Green Ginger Digital co-founder and Performance Marketing Director, Emily Falkingham, has been named one of Management Today’s 35 Women Under 35, the annual list celebrating the UK’s most impressive young women in business.
Now in its 24th year, the list recognises leaders who are reshaping industries and raising the bar. Emily’s inclusion is no surprise to us!
She co-founded Green Ginger at 28, with a clear mission to give clients direct access to senior, experienced digital specialists and to build a business that supports people in growing, leading, and thriving in their careers, while providing flexible working, opportunities, and benefits to enhance work-life balance for the team.
As Performance Marketing Director, she leads strategy and delivery across some of our largest clients, including Pret a Manger, Face the Future, and MKM Building Supplies. She’s also a passionate advocate for women, from mentoring those in the business to supporting grassroots organisations like Hull Sisters, a charity that helps women from ethnic minority backgrounds who have been victims of domestic violence.
Sharing her views on LinkedIn about the recognition, Emily stated:
“I’m incredibly proud to have been shortlisted for this year’s Management Today 35 Women Under 35.
Last week, I attended the launch event in Knightsbridge where I met the other brilliant women on the list. It gave us the chance to connect, share stories, and celebrate each other.
I’ll be honest, on the train down to London, I was full of nerves. The usual thoughts crept in: is my outfit right? Will anyone talk to me? Do I even deserve this? But once I arrived, those worries quickly faded.
The room was full of inspiring, down-to-earth women from all sorts of industries and backgrounds. It was a great afternoon, and I left with a brand new network of peers I hope to lean on and learn from.”
Emily co-founded Green Ginger in 2020 alongside Nick Cranwell, investing just £500 each to get the agency off the ground. Five years on, Green Ginger is now a multi-award-winning agency with a seven-figure turnover, a growing team of digital specialists, and a client list that includes high-growth DTC brands and national household names.
It’s a success story built on deep expertise, trust, and a shared belief that agencies can, and should, offer something different.
“Every day is a learning curve. It hasn’t always been easy, and the responsibility of making the right decisions for the business and our team can be tough. But I’ve never regretted the leap,” Emily shared.
Her leadership style is thoughtful, honest, and quietly determined, with a strong emphasis on people, fairness, and doing fantastic work for clients. Whether it’s building team structures that support progression, creating flexible roles for working parents like herself, or investing time in mentorship, Emily brings intent and clarity to everything she does.
What’s next?
Recognition like this is always welcome, but it doesn’t change what happens next. Emily’s already back to doing what she does best: pushing performance, guiding the team, and helping clients grow.
At Green Ginger, we’re proud to be co-founded by someone who leads with integrity, challenges the status quo, and proves daily that you can build success on your terms.
Congratulations, Emily, we couldn’t be prouder!
