Salary Range: £19K – 23K, dependent on experience

What is the role?
As a Content SEO Executive at Green Ginger, you’ll support the execution of SEO strategies, optimise on-page content, and manage content across multiple CMS platforms. You’ll assist in team communications and help create impactful content marketing plans and reports.
Your role includes monitoring search performance, analysing competitors, and staying on top of SEO trends. With a proactive and growth-oriented mindset, you’ll build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, delivering valuable insights and ensuring that SEO best practices are continuously refined and implemented for maximum client success.
Responsibilities
- Execute on-page optimisations across Green Ginger’s SEO client portfolio
- Creating, editing, and publishing high quality editorial, ecommerce and blog content
- Implement changes in content management systems e.g., WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to implement necessary features and changes
- Support wider team with performance communication with confidence in both written and verbal communication
- Support with the creation of content marketing plans and monthly reports, aligned to the goals and KPIs of each client, executing on time and with acute attention to detail
- Monitor and analyse organic search performance data, identifying issues and opportunities relevant to client objectives
- Proactively escalating performance challenges with a solution-based approach.
- Conduct research into competitor activity and trending insights, utilising industry tools such as AHRefs, Screaming Frog, Search Console, and Keyword Planner
- Keep abreast of the latest search engine guidelines, news, trends, techniques and technologies to ensure on-going SEO best practice at Green Ginger Digital
- Suggest new ideas to improve rankings and identifying new keyword opportunities to rank to improve SEO traffic for clients
- Ad hoc tasks and support as required for the business
Requirements
- A 6 or higher equivalent in GCSE English with a keen interest in writing and language
- An analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail, able to articulate changes in data
- Computer literate, able to learn new platforms and technologies quickly with guidance
- Organised and able to work to deadlines
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- A proactive, forward thinker, not afraid to share ideas and think differently
