It’s hard to believe it’s been five years since Nick and I launched Green Ginger Digital. What started as a bold idea to go it alone after years of working together in another agency has grown into something far bigger than we could have ever imagined.
From the spare room office to our central Hull space to our 1,400 sqft new office in Beverley, which we moved into last April, Green Ginger Digital has grown sustainably over the past half-decade.
As I reflect on our journey, I am proud of everything we’ve achieved to date.
When we first opened our doors, we had a simple mission: to help businesses grow through smart, data-driven marketing strategies and to streamline and simplify the client-agency experience. No fluff.
Fast-forward five years, and that mission has driven us to some incredible milestones, working with amazing clients and delivering business-changing results.
Over the past 12 months alone, we’ve achieved a turnover of £1.05 million and grown our team to 14 talented individuals who are as passionate about performance marketing as I am.
Our focus has always been on delivering results, whether through Strategy, SEO, Paid Search, or Paid Social services, and this focus has attracted some attention. In 2023, Prolific North named us one of the Independent Agencies to Watch, and we also achieved Google Premier Partner Status after just three years – both of which were surreal achievements so early into our agency journey!
But now, it’s time to plan for the next five years. We’ve set our sights on even bigger goals, and I wanted to share these today.

Green Ginger Digital eyes £3m turnover in revitalised 5-year Plan
By 2030, we aim to triple our turnover to £3 million and grow our team to 20. It’s an ambitious plan, but one that feels entirely within reach, thanks to the solid foundation we’ve built with sustainable new business wins, alongside long-term relationships with several clients we’ve been proud to hold for as many years as we’ve traded as an agency!
To support this growth, we’re investing in talent and expertise within the agency. Over the next few years, we’ll introduce new roles, including Heads of Paid Media, SEO, Operations, and Partnerships, and expand our team of Paid Media and SEO Strategists. These additions will ensure we stay sharp and continue to meet the changing needs of our clients.
Speaking of clients, they’ve always been at the centre of our journey. From significant new partnerships with brands like Racking Solutions, Urban Lockers, The Chelsea Psychology Clinic, and PACK’D to long-standing collaborations with MKM Building Supplies and Face the Future, our clients have trusted us to deliver, and the Green Ginger Digital team has always risen to the challenge.
One of the things I’m most proud of is how we’ve maintained our personal, agile approach even as we’ve grown. Our relationships with clients are built on trust, and ensuring they have direct access to senior expertise remains a top priority for us.
As we celebrate our fifth anniversary, we’re also looking for ways to give back. Over the course of 2025, we’ll donate £5,000 to five local and national charities, offer pro bono digital marketing support to causes in our community, and hold team fundraising activities to raise even more. It’s our way of saying thank you and marking our five years in business in a way that benefits the community around us, which has been integral to our success.
Personally, I believe this journey has been about more than just numbers and growth. It’s about people. The amazing team at Green Ginger Digital, our inspiring clients, and the community we’re part of.
Here’s to Green Ginger Digital’s future: bold goals, new challenges, and, most importantly, continued success built on collaboration, innovation, and trust. Together with my co-founder Nick, I’m excited to see what the next half-decade will bring.
